NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. THESE OFFICIAL RULES APPLY TO THE [Oreck MAGNESIUM RS] PRIZE DRAW, SPONSORED BY Oreck UK (“PROMOTER”). BY ENTERING, YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE READ, ACCEPTED AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES. THIS CONTEST IS IN NO WAY SPONSORED, ENDORSED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH FACEBOOK, INC. (“FACEBOOK”). BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST, YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE PROVIDING YOUR INFORMATION TO PROMOTER AND NOT TO FACEBOOK.

1. PROMOTION PERIOD

The Prize Draw will commence at [12:00] GMT on [Monday 14th November 2016] and close at [23:59] GMT on [Sunday 20th November 2016] (“Prize Draw Period”).

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 The Prize Draw is only open to residents of the United Kingdom (“Prize Draw Territory”) who have reached the age of eighteen (18) years as at the date of entry. By entering the Prize Draw Entrants confirm that they are residents of the Prize Draw Territory and are at least 18 years of age at the time of entering the Prize Draw.

2.2 Directors, management, officers and employees (and their immediate family (parents, children, siblings and spouses) and household members) of the Promoter, Facebook and their affiliated companies and advertising and promotional agencies, representatives and entities involved in the implementation and execution of the Prize Draw are not eligible to participate.

3. HOW TO ENTER

3.1 Go to the www.facebook.com, visit the following fan page: [https://www.facebook.com/OreckUK/] (“Fan Page”), click on the “Like” button to become a fan of the Fan Page and [click on the ‘Like’ button on the main competition entry post]. This will constitute your “Entry”. Completed Entries must be received by the Promoter by the end of the Prize Draw Period.

3.2 Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet. These costs may vary so please check with your service provider for current charges. Entrants should seek the permission of the person paying the bill before entering. If you are accessing the Oreck contest page via a cellular data network the cost of entry will vary depending on whether you have a contracted data package in place and the terms of that data package.

3.3 Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the database of the Promoter (or its agents or associated companies), not at the time of transmission by an Entrant. Subject to applicable laws and regulations, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Prize Draw should any computer virus, communications network failure, bug, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or other causes beyond the control of the Promoter corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Prize Draw. In the event of cancellation, the Promoter shall be entitled to award the Prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to cancellation. Automated Entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices, software or other methods will result in disqualification.

3.4 Entries must also conform to the following additional requirements in the Promoter’s sole discretion:

3.4.1 Entries cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about the Promoter or their products or services, or other people, products or companies; and

3.4.2 Entries cannot depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law.

3.5 Entries represent the views and opinions of the individual Entrants and do not reflect the views of the Promoter or its associated companies or contractors and agents in any manner. By submitting an Entry, you agree that your submission is gratuitous and made without restriction, and will not place the Promoter under any obligation. By entering, you acknowledge that the Promoter has no obligation to use or publicise the content of your Entry.

3.6 By submitting an Entry you hereby grant to the Promoter and their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, copy, adapt, modify, transmit, broadcast, publish or delete any information or other material comprised in the Entry including without limitation, the Entrant's name, Photograph, likeness, biographical information, voice, text, images, designs, audio and/or video clips submitted in entering or any statement made by them concerning the Prize Draw in any and all media as they, in their discretion, see fit. Such use will include, but not be limited to uploading the Entry to any website and/or Facebook page; and

4. SELECTION OF A WINNER

4.1 All valid, fully complete Entries received by the end of the Prize Draw Period shall be submitted into a random prize draw.

4.2 On [Wednesday 23rd November] a random drawing will be conducted by the Promoter from all valid Entries. One (1) winner will be chosen at random. The selected Entrant will be notified by email. If a selected Entrant cannot be contacted within 10 business days the Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Entrant which will be selected by a further random drawing which will take place on [Thursday 8th December 2016]. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible Entries received.

5. GENERAL CONDITIONS

5.1 If a winning Entry is deemed not to comply with the Terms and Conditions, the Entry will be discarded and a new winner of the Prize will be determined by the Promoter selecting a further valid Entry. Decisions as to whether Entries infringe these Terms and Conditions in any way shall be in the sole discretion of the Promoter. Submissions that do not comply in all material respects with the Official Rules may be disqualified.

5.2 The Promoter reserves the right to terminate the Prize Draw and withhold the Prize(s) if, in the Promoter's reasonable opinion, there are insufficient Entries. The Promoter's decision is final with respect to any aspect of the Prize Draw, including the determination of any Winner. No correspondence will be entered into.

5.3 The validity of any Entry is subject to verification by the Promoter. The Promoter may require Winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency and proof of age. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter’s discretion.

6. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE

6.1 The prize consists of a [Oreck Magnesium RS Vacuum Cleaner]. There is one (1) Prize available to be won. The recommended retail price of the Prize is £[299.99]. The Prize may be generally available for less than this value depending on 3rd party promotional prices.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY – GENERAL

7.1 By entering, and to the extent permitted by applicable laws, entrants agree: (a) to release Sponsor and Facebook, and any third party retained by or on behalf of Sponsor for the purposes of executing and administering the Contest and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, distributors, sales representatives, distributors, advertising, promotion and judging agencies and all other service agencies and providers involved with this Contest and each of their officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all liability, loss or damage incurred with respect to their participation in the Contest and the awarding, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any Prize; and, (b) that under no circumstances will they be permitted to obtain awards for, and they hereby waive all rights to claim, any punitive, incidental, consequential or other damages including, but not limited to attorneys’ fees or other court costs, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses.

Any waiver of any obligation hereunder by Sponsor does not constitute a general waiver of any obligation to entrants. By submitting an Entry, you agree that your Entry is gratuitous and made without restriction and will not place Sponsor under any obligation,. You acknowledge that, by acceptance of your Entry, Sponsor does not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas previously known to Sponsor, or developed by its employees or contractors or obtained from other entrants or sources other than you. Released Parties do not guarantee the posting of any Entry and may remove any Entry at any time.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY – PRIZE DRAW OPERATION

The Promoter is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected Entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, communications failure or otherwise. The Promoter has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.

9. DISQUALIFICATION

The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Prize Draw by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the Entry process or with the operation of the Prize Draw or acts in violation of the Terms and Conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent or effect of annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel a Prize or otherwise cease to provide any benefit of a Prize to a Winner if the Winner behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related bodies corporate or the agencies or companies associated with this Prize Draw, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate.

10. MODIFICATION

If for any reason any aspect of this Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, subject to applicable laws and regulations, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw, or invalidate any affected Entries. In the event of such an occurrence the Promoter may post a notice at the Oreck Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/OreckUK/.

11. ACCEPTANCE AND SUBSTITUTION OF PRIZES

The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in Prize value. If the Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may substitute the Prize for another item of equal or higher value as determined by the Promoter, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in each state and territory if required.

12. TAXES

The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications arising from the Prize or Prize Draw. The Winner will be solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes and any other costs, expenses and fees, in connection with their participation in the Prize Draw and acceptance of any prize.

13. PERSONAL INFORMATION

By completing and submitting the information requested for participation in the Prize Draw, Entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of this Prize Draw. The Promoter may disclose Entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Prize Draw or communicating with Entrants. If an Entrant has so elected, Entrants consent to the storage of their personal information on the Promoter’s database and the Promoter may use this information for future promotion and marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting the entrant via electronic messaging. 14. PROMOTER

The Promoter is Oreck UK (company number 1341840) 2 Colmore Square, 38 Colmore Circus, Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6BN. Entrants or consumers who have any questions regarding the operation of the Prize Draw should write to the above address and state the name of the Prize Draw in their correspondence.

15. WINNERS’ NAMES

The name of the Winner will be available approximately three (3) weeks after the close of the Prize Draw Period and can be obtained from Digital Marketing,Oreck, 2 Colmore Square, 38 Colmore Circus, Queensway, Birmingham, B4 6BN on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope. Details will be available for one (1) month after the Winner is announced.

16. GOVERNING LAW

The terms and conditions of this Prize Draw shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales without regard to the conflict of laws provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in England and Wales.
