1. Vacuum - Vacuum complete floor area to be cleaned to remove any loose particles from carpet.

2. Pre-Mist - Lightly spray 4' x 4' (1.22m2) area with ORECK Pre-Mist™
Spray. Avoid covering the entire area in one go as the chemicals
will dry too quickly. For best results hold the bottle at waist
height with nozzle set to 'mist'.

3. Dry Carpet™ Cleaning Powder - Open the tub of ORECK Dry Carpet™
Cleaning Powder, dip the sprinkler into the tub and fill half way.
The amount should cover a 4'x4'(1.22m2) area. Lightly sprinkle
over the area treated with Pre-mist Spray.

4. Brush - Attach the Carpet Shampoo Brush to the Orbiter and
agitate the powder into the carpet by working forwards and
backwards until the powder sinks between the carpet fibres. The
Dry Powder is now at work absorbing dirt and stains like a
sponge. Only go over the powder once and do not over-work.

5. Vacuum - Allow the Dry Cleaning Powder to work for 30 - 45
minutes, then vacuum thoroughly. You can walk on the carpet at
any time during the process. This process is safe for children and
pets.

Helpful Hints
- Make sure the Cleaning Powder container is tightly re-sealed for maximum
effectiveness and freshness.
- Heavily soiled area may require more than one application.
- The powder will eventually clog the pores in the vacuum bag, so remember
to change it frequently.
- Do not clean an area of carpet larger than 4' x 4' (1.22m2) at a
time as the carpet cleaner will dry and lose effectiveness.
- The Carpet Shampoo Brush can be rejuvenated by placing it in a tub of hot
water, then leaving it to dry naturally. This will prolong its life.
- Never store the machine with the brushes on it, as it will deform them.
