"I have found Oreck effectiveness, lightness and overall performance amazing. Demonstrated for my neighbour who has now ordered one. Vacuuming will now be more pleasurable experience rather than a chore as my old (rubbish) Vax was cumbersome and less effective. I'm so glad I watched QVC demonstration and had never bought anything from TV before."

"I bought an XL10 at the beginning of 2011 and was very impressed with both the quality and performance of this vacuum cleaner. It was far superior to my Dyson and any other vacuum cleaner i had owned before. However around june of 2011 my vacuum cleaner developed a fault with the electrical lead near the handle and became intermittent in it\'s operation. I rang Oreck and spoke to a very helpful person who informed me that my vacuum cleaner had a 10 year guarantee. Collection was arranged promptly and my vacuum cleaner was repaired and returned to me in a very reasonable period of time ( 2weeks max). It was returned having been cleaned and a new lemon dust bag fitted. Also the lead had a new retainer fitted. I was also told that if my vacuum was damaged in transit i would receive a new vacuum. I would just like to say that i am very impressed with Oreck\'s customer service and the way in which your call centre staff handled my concerns. I would recommend to my friends and colleagues Oreck products without hesitation. Thank you once again for your excellent service i would now never buy anything other than your products. My parents recommended Oreck to me and have bought your vacuums for many years."

"Prior to getting the Oreck I went along with the present trend and purchased a bagless upright and a small bagless cylinder cleaner - it seemed like a good idea at the time - but didn't realise how messy it would be having to brush the filters and wash them quite frequently. I was so relieved to go back to the bagged Oreck and decided to make life really easy by getting rid of the bagless cylinder vac and purchasing the lightweight and compact but powerful Oreck Cylinder vac to go with my XL Classic Upright"

When you get older you get weaker, so the Oreck is a 'no brainer', its lightweight, easy to use, and the cansister is perfect for cleaning the car. Owned one 10 years ago and tried 2 makes of Dyson, but have not been satisfied...on a recent visit with my sister I tried the lightweight XL10 and was so impressed with the 'self propelled' action, its lightnes, and pick up. Ordered direct straight away. Hopefully this will be my last purchase of a vacuum."
