"I find that the Oreck vacuum is so light and easy to use it has made 'Hoovering' my carpets an easier job to do. As a person who suffers from osteoporosis and arthritis it makes my life a lot less tiring then pushing my old much heavier machine around. The length of the cable on the Oreck is also a wonderful bonus I can plug it into the socket in my hall and 'Hoover' my 2 bedrooms, hall and bathroom without having to keep unplugging and plugging into different sockets. "I have had my Oreck XL 2605 classic for 6 years now and only this week, when it was away being serviced for the first time, did I realise how much I appreciate it. This is without doubt the best vacuum cleaner I have ever had, I have 2 children and pets in the house and I need something that does the job swiftly and properly. The good things about my Oreck are: It's lightweight, so vacuuming is not a chore, its easy - I actually enjoy it! It really brushes dirt and even pet hair right out of the carpet; other vacuum cleaners I have owned may have been powerful on suction but were weak on brushing and you can't suck up the dirt if it stays stuck to the carpet!
It has never broken down and after 6 years of working hard this was it's first service. Whilst it was away I had to dig out my previous vacuum cleaner to use instead; it was so heavy and it's cleaning performance was useless compared to what I have come to expect from my wonderful Oreck, I instantly remembered why I replaced it with the Oreck. I have no hesitation in recommending the Oreck and I would not waste my money on any other vacuum cleaner ever again"
